The String Dusters: Press

I have just finished listening to the new CD "Thursday Night at Marilyn's". I have to tell you that I am completely blown away. Oh my God! It's awsome! I love the variety of music! Lake on the Mountain is a great one for Marilyn. And Mickey's vocal on Wild Mountain Thyme made me cry. The harmony of Sarah and Dottie on Children Go Where I Send Thee is hard to beat. Frank, you are just great on the banjo on the Old Spinning Wheel. I love to hear banjo. Red Wing is an all time favorite of mine. It seems to be perfect for the hammered dulcimer. But you on Banjo just made it even better. Margarets Waltz is just beautiful. More tears. I can't tell you how much I enjoy this music. It makes me feel so good. I will listen to it endlessly. Your music takes me to a special place.

Old time tunes played right! I'm going to teach Waynesboro to my band.

Bill and I hired the Stringdusters for our wedding reception in September. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their music -
especially me! So, I am giving each of my sisters the new CD for
Christmas and buying Primitive Soul for myself. The Stringdusters
really made our wedding day extra special -- and they are really nice
people too. Thanks, folks!!
